Speakers will address the movement for climate justice, the federal Green New Deal resolution, NYC legislation to reduce GHG emissions from large buildings, and the proposed New York State Climate and Community Protection Act. State Senator John Liu represents the 11th District in Queens and serves as chairperson of the New York City Education Committee. He joined the State Senate in a “game-changing” election in 2018.
