Scott Larson

My focus is the broad realm of human geography with a particular emphasis on urban geography, political economy and the geography of Latin America. I have studied and written about immigration, transnationalism, urbanism, and the historical evolution of the built environment as well as issues of inequality, gentrification and marginalization.

A High Line for Queens: Celebrating Diversity or Displacing it? in Deconstructing the High Line: Postindustrial Urbanism and the Rise of the Elevated Park
